MEET JAN
Jan Galletly started moving furniture around her mother’s apartment almost as soon as she could walk. Her early passion for interior design led her to a degree from the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising in Los Angeles. Jan worked in Interior Design in Southern California for six years before changing gears to pursue a career in technology sales. Marriage, a move to Northern California, and a growing family kept Jan busy as she rose to the top of her company’s sales force where she gained invaluable client relations and organization skills.
Fifteen years ago, Jan returned to her true passion. She joined Design Concepts in Alamo, working with clients all around the bay area on design projects of every size and scope.
In 2018, Jan launched Diablo Design Group in downtown Danville, serving both the residential and commercial marketplace.

When we moved back to the Bay Area a couple years ago, we decided to move back into our place. However, after nearly 10 years and a couple of renters it needed a serious remodel--floors, kitchen, baths. New to the area and frankly the world of remodel, we needed design advice, contractors, and general guidance.
We found Jan by accident and wow, couldn't have done it without her! She helped us with design, materials, found and contracted all the contractors. She gave us advice, calmed us down on occasion , and drove both us and our contractors until it was done.
Aside from a beautiful result--which it was, love everything--Jan was absolutely perfect for us. My husband and I both work and I travel extensively, so we needed a driver, and wow is she a driver!
I still don't do anything regarding design without consulting her. Recommend her to everyone!

My husband and I purchased a new large home and needed to get the entire house furnished, pick out tile, backslash, etc., after interviewing a few decorators we decided Jan would be the woman for the job. She helped decorator almost every room in a extremely timely manner, followed up quickly with every phone call or text and made sure we were a priority. She has a very good eye for EVERYTHING, very to the point and doesn't mess around. She truly knows her stuff! Jan came on the scene later in my home remodel process and made a great impact. Initially, I thought I could handle things on my own but I quickly became overwhelmed. Jan was recommended to me by a friend. At our first meeting she was very professional and easy to talk to. She helped me with paint colors, lighting, tile choices, furniture layout, and furniture and rug choices and more. Any issue or challenge I encountered, she would always have a guy or gal for that. The subs she works with are very professional and meet their commitments.
She helped me make smart decisions, the bargain is not always the answer but the most expensive choice was not necessarily the best either. She helps you make the best choice for your family and your needs. She was a genuine pleasure to work with.
